The customers you already have should be the income you can count on.
We turn your regulars into monthly members — no new booking system, no admin, paid out weekly.
Your customers subscribe, scan at the chair, and your contracted revenue grows.
Memberships, run from the chair.
Your customer joins
They download the Main Chair app, pick you as their barber and choose a monthly plan — usually right after a cut, when they're happiest.
They scan at the chair
Each cut is redeemed with a QR code in their phone wallet. One scan, no cash, no card machine, no admin.
You get paid weekly
Membership payments land in your account every week, with a clear statement of members, redemptions and payouts.
Fewer pounds per cut. Far more per customer.
Members pay a little less per cut, so they come back more often. A customer who drifts in every six weeks becomes one who's in your chair twice a month.
It works best for shops with quiet slots to fill: contracted revenue for the hours that would otherwise sit empty — not a discount on your busiest Saturday.
| One customer, per year | Walk-in | Member |
|---|---|---|
| Price per cut | £30.00 | £25.00 |
| Visits | ~8.7 | 24 |
| Customer spend | £260 | £600 |
| Card fees | — | –£11.40 |
| Main Chair fee (5%) | — | –£30.00 |
| You keep | £260 | ~£558.60 |
Illustrative example only, not a forecast or guarantee. Assumes a £30 walk-in customer visiting every six weeks who joins a 2-cuts-a-month plan (£50/month) and uses both cuts. You'd serve more cuts for that money (about £23 effective per cut), and results depend on how often your members actually visit. Our founding-shop trial in 2027 exists to measure exactly this.
Built for the people holding the clippers.
More revenue per customer
Regulars who visit more often, on a monthly payment, instead of whenever they remember.
Chairs filled more often
Members come back on a rhythm — useful for the quiet mid-week slots.
A predictable revenue line
Know what's coming in each month before the first customer walks through the door.
A predictable workload
Plan staffing against known demand rather than guessing.
Stable pay, happier barbers
Recurring income makes it easier to pay your team steadily — and keep them.
A shop worth more
A book of contracted members is an asset. Recurring revenue makes a shop easier to value and to sell.
Simple terms. Your shop, your prices.
Main Chair sits alongside how you already work. Keep your booking system, your walk-ins and your prices.

Pick your barber. Pick your plan. Scan, cut, stay fresh.
Pick your barber
Choose the barber you already trust — membership is with them, not a random chair.
Pick your plan
Pay monthly for the number of cuts that suits you. The more often you go, the less each cut costs.
Scan at the chair
Your membership lives as a QR code in your phone wallet. Scan, get cut, done. No cash, no card.
Two ways to stay fresh.
Prices are set from your barber's normal price. Example below at a £30 barber.
Example prices for a barber who charges £30 for a walk-in cut. Your barber's plans will be priced from their own walk-in price.
Look better, more often — for less per cut.
More cuts, looking sharper
No more stretching it another week. You're always fresh for the next thing.
Pay less per cut
Members pay less each visit than walking in.
